Their business was predominately government funded which required a huge amount of paperwork to be completed and processed quickly to ensure payment. Business partners Adam Leese and Lee Morris had a heavily paper driven business – not only was this paper usage highly costly to their business both in terms of material, postage, travel and wasted time but it also posed a number of significant risks. IPEGS was created due to a need and desire to get away from using paper – not only from a environmental perspective but from an efficiency perspective.
